Apr 11, 2026
From: 8:00 PM to 2:00 AM
Malian guitarist and singer Vieux Farka Touré performs live at ZeyZey Miami during a special Record Store Day 2026 celebration presented in partnership with Sweat Records. Taking place Saturday, April 18, the evening highlights one of West Africa’s most acclaimed contemporary guitarists in an open-air setting in Miami.
The son of legendary desert blues pioneer Ali Farka Touré, Vieux Farka Touré has built an international reputation for his expressive guitar work and genre-crossing sound. Rooted in Malian musical traditions, his style blends West African rhythms with elements of blues, rock, jazz and Latin influences. Since releasing his self-titled debut album in 2007, Touré has toured globally and collaborated with artists across genres, including Dave Matthews, John Scofield, pianist Idan Raichel and the Texas trio Khruangbin.
The performance takes place at ZeyZey Miami, an open-air cultural venue and community gathering space known for hosting international live music and creative programming. Guests can enjoy seasonal cocktails, natural wines and non-alcoholic beverages alongside food from Tacos María, serving grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos made without industrial seed oils.
The event runs from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and is open to guests ages 18 and older.
