Visit The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU

The Jewish Museum of Florida-FIU opens its doors for public exploration inside two historic synagogue buildings on Washington Avenue in Miami Beach.

Organized by The Miami Center for Architecture & Design, this open house experience invites visitors to explore the museum’s galleries and architectural setting during Open House Miami, offering insight into Florida’s Jewish history, culture and art. The museum is housed within two restored former synagogues dating to the 1930s, where preservation, storytelling and design intersect.

This open house experience is offered on multiple days during Open House Miami:

• Friday, February 27
• Saturday, February 28
• Sunday, March 1

During the visit, guests can view current exhibitions including Hope Becoming Home and the Winter Season Exhibition 2025, which explore themes of migration, identity and cultural continuity through art and historical interpretation.
