WALLCAST® Concert: Davóne Tines Anthem
Feb 21, 2026
Starting: 7:30 PM
Themes of race, social justice and belonging take center stage in Miami Beach in a moving program led by baritone Davóne Tines as part of the New World Symphony’s annual I Dream a World festival. The free WALLCAST® Concert: Davóne Tines: Anthem on Saturday, February 21 features Kalena Bovell conducting, with NWS Conducting Fellow Ziwei Ma also appearing on the podium. The program includes Jessie Montgomery’s Banner, Tines’s own Concerto No. 2: ANTHEM and Margaret Bonds’s The Montgomery Variations, works that reflect on the Civil Rights Movement and its enduring resonance today.
The performance inside the New World Center will be broadcast in high definition on its 7,000-square-foot projection wall at SoundScape Park, along with a mobile screen and upgraded sound system extending the viewing area. Guests are invited to bring blankets or picnic dinners for an evening of music under the stars. No tickets are required, and public restrooms are available in the southeast corner of the park.
