Wandering Black Girls Club Earth Month Walk
Apr 25, 2026
From: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
A guided group walk through the lush grounds of Fruit & Spice Park offers an opportunity to explore tropical plant life while connecting with others in a relaxed outdoor setting. The gathering takes place Saturday, April 25, with a morning start and a flexible end time depending on the group’s pace. Organized in recognition of Earth Month, the walk centers on slowing down, engaging with nature and fostering community through shared experience.
Participants will move along the park’s trails, which feature more than 500 varieties of fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices from around the world. The experience may include observing seasonal plantings, sampling fallen fruit when available and taking in the park’s diverse botanical landscape at an unhurried pace.
The event is presented by Wandering Black Girls Club, a community initiative that creates opportunities for Black women in their mid-20s to 40s to explore local spaces and build connections through shared activities. A participation fee is collected upon arrival or through advance registration.
