Well-Being Concert: Ablaye Cissoko & Cyrille Brotto
Feb 06, 2026
From: 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM
A restorative evening of live music invites audiences to slow down and experience sound as a shared practice of reflection and well-being.
Well-Being Concert: Ablaye Cissoko & Cyrille Brotto takes place Friday, February 6 at Superblue Miami. Presented by Live Arts Miami in partnership with Carnegie Hall, the concert unfolds within Superblue’s immersive environment, where audiences are seated on floor pillows and encouraged to engage with the music through stillness, presence and deep listening.
Internationally acclaimed musicians Ablaye Cissoko and Cyrille Brotto guide the evening through a musical dialogue that bridges Senegal and France. Cissoko, a master kora player and griot, draws on centuries-old West African traditions rooted in storytelling and spiritual lineage, while accordionist and composer Brotto brings influences from European folk music and improvisation. Together, their collaboration creates a contemplative atmosphere designed to support relaxation, connection and renewal.
The program is part of Carnegie Hall’s Well-Being Concerts initiative, developed in response to research highlighting music’s role in emotional and physical well-being. Tickets are limited for this intimate experience.
