Spring comes alive as children dash across Rockway Park's green lawns in pursuit of colorful treasures during the community's annual Easter egg hunt. Westchester's Best Easter Egg Hunt returns on Saturday, April 12, offering a free event designed to delight visitors of all ages.
Throughout the day, thousands of eggs will be scattered across designated hunting grounds, with carefully scheduled sessions ensuring everyone has a fair chance to participate. The youngest hunters (ages 5 and under) begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by children ages 6-9 at 11:45 a.m., those 10-12 years old at 12:30 p.m. and a special session for late arrivals at 1:15 p.m.
The festivities extend beyond the hunt itself, featuring seasonal crafts, interactive games and family-friendly challenges. Many attendees look forward to meeting the Easter Bunny, providing perfect photo opportunities to commemorate the day. Special treats and surprises hidden among the eggs add an extra element of excitement to the search.
