May 09, 2026 - May 10, 2026
Sat: 7:00 PM | Sun: 3:00 PM
A multidisciplinary dance performance at Sandrell Rivers Theater brings together contemporary movement, drag and spoken word in a program centered on identity and self-expression. The event takes place across two performances on Saturday, May 9 and Sunday, May 10, presented by RTW Dance under the direction of choreographer Randolph Ward. The production combines multiple performance styles into a single evening-length work.
The program features more than ten South Florida artists working across contemporary dance, ballroom and vogue, pole dance, jazz vocals and spoken word. Highlights include the short dance film The Big Dig, a male pointe solo, the multimedia piece Unconventional and a vogue performance segment, alongside an appearance by drag performer CC Glitzer.
Titled Wet Ink, the performance explores themes of identity, sexuality, agency and personal transformation through a mix of staged works and collaborative pieces. Each performance concludes with Unmasked, a post-show dialogue examining social divisions and shared experiences. The program is intended for audiences ages 18 and older.
