What Do You See: Short Film Premiere
This event has passed.
A short film premiere highlights the work of emerging South Florida filmmakers as they present original projects developed through a mentorship program. Taking place Saturday, May 16 at the YoungArts Jewel Box in downtown Miami, the event showcases five selected participants from the “What Do You See?” Fellowship. The evening brings their films to the screen following months of guided development and collaboration with industry professionals.
Chosen from a competitive pool of applicants, the filmmakers engaged in a hands-on process designed to mirror professional production, from concept to final edit. During the event, each participant will introduce their work and share insights into their creative approach and storytelling process.
The program concludes with a panel of film industry professionals who will select a standout film from the evening’s presentations. Presented as both a screening and a community gathering, the event offers a look at new voices in filmmaking and the outcomes of a mentorship-driven creative initiative.
