WHYNOTUS: Miami Music Week
Mar 28, 2026
Starting: 11:00 PM
A late-night showcase of Afro-house and global grooves lands at The Ground for Miami Music Week as WHYNOTUS takes over the downtown venue.
Happening Saturday, March 28, with doors at 11 p.m., this 21+ event features Cuban-born, Miami-based DJ and producer Malóne, founder of the WHYNOTUS label and event series. The ticket provides access to The Ground only and does not include entry to the Club Space Terrace. Closing time varies per event.
Fresh off a breakout year, Malóne has become a defining presence in Miami’s electronic scene, including a residency at Space Miami. His releases on labels such as Saved, Insomniac, Abracadabra and Watergate have helped shape a sound rooted in Afro-house rhythms and melodic, percussive drive. Tracks like “Muy Bien” and “Besame” reached the #1 position on Beatport’s Afro House chart, while collaborations with Blond:ish further expanded his international reach.
Launched in 2024, WHYNOTUS reflects Malóne’s curatorial vision, spotlighting refined cuts and globally influenced dance music from a network of artists around the world. For Miami Music Week, the concept translates into an extended set built for deep movement and immersive flow.
Located on the ground floor of the iconic Club Space complex in downtown Miami, The Ground offers a mid-sized setting designed for close-range sound and connection, balancing production quality with an intimate dance floor experience.
