Wine & Dine with Salvatore Ferragamo of Il Borro Toscana

Italian winemaking heritage takes center stage during an intimate wine dinner at Eataly Aventura, featuring Salvatore Ferragamo, CEO of Il Borro Toscana.

Hosted at Eataly Aventura, the evening pairs a curated three-course meal with a guided tasting of three wines from the Il Borro estate. Ferragamo leads guests through the history of the Tuscan property, the estate’s organic farming practices, and the production techniques behind each bottle, offering insight into how terroir, grape selection and craftsmanship shape the wines. The tasting highlights varietals grown in the Valdarno hills, including Sangiovese, Chardonnay, Merlot, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon, with a focus on thoughtful food-and-wine pairing.

Il Borro’s story spans centuries, from its origins as a medieval fortress acquired in 1255 to its stewardship by prominent European families such as the Medici and the House of Savoy. Since 1993, the Ferragamo family has overseen the preservation of the estate’s historical legacy while transforming it into a fully organic winery known for wines with a strong sense of place.
