Art, history and living tradition converge in an exhibition that highlights the creativity and resilience of the Seminole people.
Yakne Seminoli / Seminole World opens October 18 at HistoryMiami Museum in partnership with the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum. Bringing together the work of more than 25 Seminole artists, including Jimmy John Osceola, Brian Zepeda, Erica Deitz, Wilson Bowers, Elgin Jumper, Virginia Osceola, Gordon Oliver Wareham, Jojo Osceola and Bobby Henry, the exhibition explores how Seminole heritage has endured, adapted and influenced Florida’s cultural landscape.
On view through March 29, 2026, the show invites visitors to experience the Seminole world through diverse forms of artistic expression, underscoring how art and history shape community and identity across generations.
