ZunZún Children's Fest
Oct 12, 2025
From: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Live music, storytelling and playful adventures take center stage as ZunZún Children’s Fest celebrates its 10th anniversary with an afternoon of bilingual performances for the whole family.
ZunZún Children’s Fest takes place Saturday, October 12 at the Koubek Center. Presented annually by FUNDarte, the festival brings together local and international artists to promote cultural appreciation and the values of “Hispanidad” through interactive, family-friendly programming.
This year’s event features two theatrical performances. Giraffes, a world premiere by Miami-based singer-songwriter Rita Rosa Ruesga and collaborators, follows three curious giraffes on a whimsical journey in search of the moon. Through music, friendship and discovery, the giraffes learn lessons that help them grow—both in neck and in spirit.
In La Familia Zarigüeya, a una sola voz, Colombian ensemble Maria del Sol y CantaClaro shares a warm and engaging story about family, teamwork and togetherness, told through song, dance and playful storytelling. Both works offer a joyful, immersive experience designed to spark imagination and celebrate cultural connection.
