This isn’t your auntie’s traditional tea-and-pastries brunch – unless your auntie’s a talented, 6-foot-tall drag queen. Palace Drag Brunch comes with a big side dish of camp and lots of laughs. The fixed-price brunch draws a diverse, adults-only crowd to feast on food and fun, with unlimited mimosas and a selection from the regular menu of Latin, Caribbean and European-influenced items, including egg dishes, salads, wraps, grilled meats, seafood and burgers. Not a mimosa fan? There’s an extensive specialty cocktail menu and a full bar, as well as non-alcoholic options. This high-energy brunch is not for the timid. The show is over the top and so full of personality that it spills out onto the street, literally. Directly across from the beach on Ocean Drive, with open-air seating, this is a food and a floor show, rain or shine, with two seatings Friday through Sunday, and one seating on Monday.

Yardbird Southern Table & Bar

Internationally renowned brunch haven Yardbird Southern Table & Bar has received rewards from Forbes, the James Beard Foundation, Southern Living and Bon Appétit. Inside the milky-white walls of this South Beach gem, the ease and comfort of Southern living set the mood. Farmhouse-style accents like mason-jar lights, rustic wooden flooring and chic leather banquettes round out the atmosphere.
