Cauley Square Historic Village

See Old South Florida at its best when you visit Cauley Square Historic Village. The humble beginnings of this historic gem started in the early 1900s, when William Cauley opened a shipping operation along the Florida East Coast Railway extension. At the center of it all was an office building and warehouse, surrounded by wooden houses and a saloon. Today, that two-story office building is the main building in Cauley Square and the homes around it have since been transformed into more than 10 acres of boutique shops, art galleries, picturesque gardens, fountains, restaurants, wellness spas and even a small chapel.

Shoppers will find items and experiences they won’t find anywhere else. They can shop for vintage home décor at Jimmy’s Bright Ideas, art at Dora Gabay Studio, exotic birds and bird feed at Aviary Bird Shop, kitchen items at Karol’s Antiques, good reads at Sweet Haven Books, and pure fragrances and skincare products at Therapia by Aroma. Step back in time at The Tea Room Restaurant, which opened in 1979 and serves high tea, brunch and dessert in a charming, Victorian-style tea house. Then feed your mind, body and soul when you take a yoga class at Tree of Life Holistic, try a painting class at The Children’s Art, or feel the healing properties of a natural salt cave at Esmeralda's Salty Air Retreat.
