While Wynwood became famous for its graffitied walls, international art scene and eclectic bars and restaurants, trendy locals have since pegged it as a burgeoning shopping district, too. Home to a bevy of one-of-a-kind fashion and home boutiques, funky gift stores, and yes, even full-service bridal shops lined with couture. Wynwood’s shopping scene is as creative as the art on its walls. Read below for our favorite places to shop in Wynwood.

Fashion-Forward Boutiques

In a neighborhood driven by art, Wynwood is home to some of the most stylish clothing boutiques in town.

Nomad Tribe is an ethical marketplace that sells feel-good clothes, shoes and accessories responsibly sourced from artisans all over Latin America. In addition to the conscious fashion on its store shelves, much of which gives back to global charities, Nomad Tribe also hosts pop-up shops, eco-design competitions and social networking events, all to create a sense of community among customers. 2301 NW 2nd Avenue

Another shop with a Latin American connection is Boho Hunter, which was started by four friends from Mexico, Peru and Venezuela with a passion for Latin America’s bohemian art. Promising an eclectic mix of fashion, home items and accessories, visit this boutique for colorful new clutches, artisan-made Panama hats and swimsuits made in Brazil. 184 NW 27th Street

Bridal Couture & Wedding Planning

While Coral Gables might be home to Miami’s “bridal row,” South Florida brides-to-be shouldn’t ignore Wynwood’s collection of homegrown and international wedding couture shops.

For the less-conventional bride looking for more than just a dress for her big day, The Bridal Project has everything from exquisite vintage wedding gowns to advice about nutrition, beauty, personal fitness, wedding planning and more. At this all-in-one shop, brides will find dresses from top local and international designers, like Miami’s own Maria D’Ocon and Barcelona’s Yolan Cris. The goal of The Bridal Project is simple: make sure every bride feels beautiful before, during and after her wedding! 2751 N. Miami Avenue, Suite 9

Another Wynwood bridal store is a&bé bridal shop, which has a beautiful collection of vintage, bohemian and indie dresses for the hopeless romantics among us. Brought to Miami from NYC, Lovely Bride only opens its stores in the hippest cities in America—and Wynwood is one of only 19 to date. This fashion-forward shop carries gowns by up-and-coming designers from around the world, like Jenny Yoo, Marchesa Notte, Theia, Louvienne and Lovers Society. For a truly special shopping experience, stop by during one of its bridal trunk shows, which happen regularly. 175 NW 25th Street

Eclectic Home & Gift Finds

The streets of Wynwood are lined with adorable lifestyle boutiques, many of which are filled with unique home décor items and eclectic gifts.

Of course, when it comes to personalized gifts, it doesn’t get more personal than a bespoke fragrance. At Osme, a destination perfumery and apothecary in the heart of Wynwood, bottles of handmade perfumes are called “liquid art.” A self-proclaimed “niche perfumery,” Osme has perfected the art of perfumes, scented décor and fragrant beauty products for the skin. 50 NW 24th Street, #111

Second Saturday Art Walk

The art galleries in Wynwood aren’t to be missed! Taking place on the second Saturday of every month, Wynwood’s Art Walk brings together some of Miami’s hottest artists and art lovers in a fun-filled, social setting. During this monthly celebration of art in Wynwood, the neighborhood’s galleries and artist studios—many of which are often by-appointment-only—keep their doors open late as locals and visitors scope out the latest talent and buy their art. Adding to the fun, street vendors line the sidewalks selling everything from small canvas paintings to exotic handmade jewelry and high-tech watches. Local cafes and coffee shops set up pop-up stores for local artisans and artists and Miami DJs keep the party going all night long.
