Hyatt Place Miami Airport East is seeking an experienced Assistant General Manager to help lead daily hotel operations while delivering exceptional guest service, maintaining brand standards, and supporting overall hotel performance. This leadership role partners closely with the General Manager to oversee team development, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and quality assurance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, and public areas.
- Train, coach, and support hotel team members while fostering a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure brand standards, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction goals are consistently achieved.
- Conduct room inspections, monitor preventive maintenance, and oversee quality assurance.
- Assist with inventory management, onboarding, scheduling, reporting, and operational audits.
- Serve as Manager on Duty and resolve guest concerns with professionalism and urgency.
- Support financial controls, purchasing, safety compliance, and daily hotel operations.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience preferred.
- Progressive experience in hospitality, hotel, restaurant, or service industries preferred.
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel operating systems.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
