Role Description
The Buffet Attendant is responsible for maintaining the presentation, cleanliness, and replenishment of buffet items to ensure a high-quality dining experience. This is a fast-paced role that requires a customer-focused attitude and continual interaction with guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain buffet stations, ensuring food is fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to coordinate food replenishment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of buffet areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of buffet stations.
- Provide friendly and attentive service to guests, answering questions and addressing concerns promptly.
Qualifications & Flexibility
- Flexibility Requirement: This position requires the flexibility to support multiple roles as needed, including Server Assistant and Food Runner.
- Excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weight.
- Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a shift.
- Open availability, including weekends and holidays, is preferred.
