Role Description
The Door Attendant is the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for providing professional hospitality in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner. Key responsibilities include opening doors for all guests entering and exiting the hotel, greeting guests with a smile, and assisting with transportation to offsite locations using approved services.
The ideal candidate serves as a local expert, maintaining thorough knowledge of the hotel layout, meeting rooms, amenities, local attractions, restaurants, and directions to enhance the guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet all guests warmly, using guest last names whenever appropriate.
- Provide a pleasant customer service attitude at all times.
- Assist guests with transportation needs to offsite locations.
- Maintain knowledge of parking rates, hotel services, and local entertainment.
- Ensure the hotel entrance remains welcoming and organized.
Qualifications
- A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Refined verbal communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for upwards of 8 hours during the duration of a shift.
- Physical ability to lift, push, and pull moderate amounts of weight.
- Ability to tolerate moderate amounts of walking.
- Open availability required, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
