Role Description
The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations within the Housekeeping department. This role ensures guest rooms meet Hyatt’s "Timeless" standards of excellence through rigorous inspection, staff support, and effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure brand standards are maintained.
- Participate in the hiring process, including interviewing, training, and scheduling associates.
- Coach and support team members, addressing performance and behavior concerns through constructive counseling.
- Prepare work schedules based on anticipated occupancy to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Resolve guest complaints promptly and professionally to drive higher satisfaction scores.
- Perform general office duties and communicate guest service scores to the team to drive continuous improvement.
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of hotel experience required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic computer skills for administrative and reporting tasks.
- Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including AM/PM shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Strong leadership skills with a true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
