Jun 06, 2026
Starting: 7:30 AM
A costumed 5K run invites participants to embrace South Florida’s playful spirit with an iguana-themed race at Crandon Park. Taking place Saturday, June 6, the inaugural 305 Iguana Man 5K encourages runners and walkers to dress up while competing for top honors in a lighthearted, community-focused event. The race combines a traditional timed course with a festive atmosphere inspired by local wildlife and “Florida Man” culture.
Participants receive a finisher medal and event T-shirt, with awards presented across multiple categories, including overall male and female winners, masters divisions and age group placements. A pre-race packet pickup is scheduled the day before, with additional pickup available on race morning for those unable to attend in advance.
Held at one of Miami-Dade County’s waterfront parks, the course offers a scenic setting for an early morning run. The event is open to a range of fitness levels, welcoming both competitive runners and casual participants.
