Crandon Park
Outdoor Experiences
Situated on the barrier island of Key Biscayne and surrounded by the island's diverse native habitats, Crandon Park is the ideal day beach getaway from the hustle and bustle of Miami.
Eco-Adventures
Its two-mile stretch of wide sandy beach and calm waters draws locals and visitors from around the world. Stroll the promenade, hike the self-guided nature trails, go on a naturalist-guided hammock hike of Bear Cut Preserve (by reservation), or rent a cabana to unwind from a day of beach activities. For the more adventurous, there are kiteboarding, kayaking and Ecoadventure snorkeling reef tours.
Golfing
If you're into golf, challenge yourself to 18 holes at Crandon Golf at Key Biscayne, a championship 18-hole golf course and the former site of the Senior PGA Tour, just 10 minutes from downtown Miami. Crandon is the only public golf course on Biscayne Bay, and you won't want to miss the view. This course is considered one of the most beautiful and difficult par-72 courses with its seventh hole touted as one of the greatest holes in golf, and one of America’s top 75 upscale courses by Golf Digest.
Tennis anyone?
The park offers a world class 26 court tennis facility - The Tennis Center - which was also the former host site of the PGA Open from 1987-2018.
This world-class facility on the island where former president Richard Nixon wintered offers visitors world-class golf and tennis, a marina, ecotourism adventures including biking, canoeing, kayaking, snorkeling and nature walks, as well as a pristine beach with an incomparable view of the Miami skyline. Daily and monthly cabana rentals are available.
