A South Florida Cabaret
This event has passed.
A vintage portrait of the Magic City comes into focus through song, storytelling and projected imagery, evoking the glamour and cultural texture of Miami in the 1960s. This cabaret-style program blends live performance with multimedia elements to explore local history and memory through a contemporary lens.
Presented in collaboration with IlluminArts, the evening features emerging vocal artists from the Frost School of Music working alongside GRAMMY Award-winning collaborative pianist Craig Terry, who also serves as artist-in-residence. The students curate and perform a program inspired by South Florida’s past, guided and accompanied by Terry, whose career includes long-standing collaborations with leading opera singers and major institutions.
A South Florida Cabaret takes place Tuesday, March 20 on the Hormel Innovation Stage at the Knight Center for Innovation. The performance is part of the Frost School of Music’s Signature Events lineup for the 2025-2026 season and marks the school’s first partnership with IlluminArts.
