A South Florida Cabaret
Mar 20, 2026
Starting: 7:30 PM
A vintage portrait of the Magic City comes into focus through song, storytelling and projected imagery, evoking the glamour and cultural texture of Miami in the 1960s. This cabaret-style program blends live performance with multimedia elements to explore local history and memory through a contemporary lens.
Presented in collaboration with IlluminArts, the evening features emerging vocal artists from the Frost School of Music working alongside GRAMMY Award-winning collaborative pianist Craig Terry, who also serves as artist-in-residence. The students curate and perform a program inspired by South Florida’s past, guided and accompanied by Terry, whose career includes long-standing collaborations with leading opera singers and major institutions.
A South Florida Cabaret takes place Tuesday, March 3 on the Hormel Innovation Stage at the Knight Center for Innovation. The performance is part of the Frost School of Music’s Signature Events lineup for the 2025-2026 season and marks the school’s first partnership with IlluminArts.
