An evening celebration brings music, dance and cultural expression together in a student-led showcase honoring Afro-Caribbean heritage.
Afro Fest & Caribbean Students Association Cultural Pageant takes place Wednesday, February 18 at Miami Dade College’s West Campus, West Park Building 1, third floor, as part of the college’s Black History Month programming marking the 100th anniversary of the observance. The event highlights the traditions and identities of the African and Caribbean diaspora through live performances, fashion, storytelling and a cultural pageant format.
Presented by student organizations, the program emphasizes history, pride and leadership while creating space for creative expression and community engagement. The evening is designed to foster cultural awareness and celebrate the diversity of Afro-Caribbean experiences within the campus community.
