AJ McQueen

A night of raw lyricism and soul-driven hip-hop comes to Gramps Wynwood as AJ McQueen takes the stage on his When We Evolve 2025 North America Tour.

Presented by Breakeven Booking, the event takes place Friday, August 22, with doors opening at 7 p.m. A poet, activist and rapper, McQueen is known for his introspective storytelling and spiritually grounded performances. Raised in St. Louis and based in Houston, his work blends personal testimony with broader social commentary, drawing from influences like Tupac, Lauryn Hill and Bob Marley.

Opening the evening is R&B singer-songwriter Ariel J, whose emotionally resonant sound sets the tone for the evening.

General admission is $20 in advance and $25 at the door. A limited number of $50 VIP tickets include early entry, a meet and greet with AJ McQueen and priority access to merchandise. This is an 18+ event.
