Poet, lyricist and musician Aja Monet takes the stage at The Ground for an evening that blends spoken word, rhythm and live instrumentation.

On Friday, November 8, Live Arts Miami presents the Miami-based artist alongside her full band, offering a performance that merges deeply personal storytelling with universal themes of love, justice and liberation. Known as the youngest winner of the Nuyorican Poets Café Grand Slam and celebrated for her internationally touring work, Monet creates experiences that move fluidly between poetry and music.
