Amy Arlo & Almost Blue
Jun 01, 2025
Starting: 6:00 PM
Enjoy an evening of soulful blues and jazz in an open-air setting as Amy Arlo & Almost Blue take the stage in Lummus Park. Known for their emotive style and rich musical arrangements, the group blends classic blues influences with a modern edge, offering a laid-back yet powerful live performance.
Originally from Philadelphia, vocalist Amy Arlo began her career immersed in the city's vibrant jazz and blues scene before relocating to Miami, where she founded Almost Blue in 2005. The band features Albert “Big Al” Arguelles on lead guitar and vocals, Ray Robinson on drums and Gus Luck on bass, together creating a sound rooted in American musical traditions.
This free concert takes place on Sunday, June 1 at 6:00 p.m. as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series, held weekly in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or picnic blankets to enjoy the live music by the sea. In case of rain, the event will move indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
The series is presented by the Ocean Drive Association and is supported by the City of Miami Beach and the GMCVB.
