Starting: 7:00 PM
A free, family-friendly ocean festival transforms the Miami Beach Bandshell into a day of creativity, discovery and hands-on learning by the sea.
Art by the Sea takes place Sunday, March 22 at the Miami Beach Bandshell and is hosted by Big Blue & You. The signature festival brings together youth, families and community partners for an immersive celebration of ocean conservation through art, science, and media. Timed to coincide with World Water Day, the event offers many young attendees their first opportunity to experience the ocean up close, even for those growing up in Miami or South Florida.

A Community Festival for Ocean Awareness
Launched in 2011, Art by the Sea annually engages more than 3,000 children and their families, supported by up to 100 volunteers and approximately 40 community partner organizations and businesses. More than a day at the beach, the festival serves as a gateway to environmental awareness, scientific discovery and artistic empowerment, fostering stewardship and curiosity while inspiring a lasting connection to the ocean.
