Bossa Fusion Quartet
Jun 21, 2026
Starting: 6:00 PM
Brazilian jazz, contemporary bossa nova and guitar-driven fusion come to Lummus Park for a free outdoor concert on Ocean Drive. Bossa Fusion Quartet performs Sunday, June 21, as part of the Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series in Miami Beach. Presented by the Ocean Drive Association, the weekly series invites attendees to bring a blanket, lawn chair or picnic for an evening concert on the lawn.
The quartet is led by Brazilian guitarist Tomati and vocalist Michelle Spinelli, whose collaboration began in São Paulo in 2005. Tomati is known in Brazil for his work as guitarist with the house band on Programa do Jô, while Spinelli has performed with him on Brazilian jazz-rock and contemporary bossa nova arrangements. Together, they developed a sound that blends Brazilian song, jazz improvisation and fusion textures.
The concert takes place in Lummus Park between 14th Street and 14th Place. In case of rain, the performance moves indoors to The Betsy Hotel. The series is underwritten by the City of Miami Beach, the GMCVB and the Ocean Drive Association.
