Build It, Race It Weekend

A weekend of hands-on racing activities at the Miami Children’s Museum invites children to design, build and test their own vehicles in a playful, interactive setting. Taking place Saturday, May 2 and Sunday, May 3 during Miami Race Week, Build It, Race It Weekend introduces engineering concepts through themed challenges and games.

Participants can create their own racecars and navigate obstacle courses designed to test speed and durability, or take part in timed races along a designated track. The activities are structured to encourage problem-solving, creativity and friendly competition.

Designed for younger audiences, the program combines movement and learning in a family-friendly environment tied to the city’s broader Race Week atmosphere.
