Grammy-winning Mexican music artist Carín León opens a new chapter for live entertainment at Nu Stadium with the venue’s first-ever concert. The performance takes place Sunday, June 28 at Nu Stadium in Miami Freedom Park.
Originally from Hermosillo, Sonora, León has become one of the leading voices in contemporary Música Mexicana, blending regional Mexican traditions with elements of pop, rock, country and other global influences. His recent albums Boca Chueca, Vol. 1 and Palabra De To’s (Seca) have earned Grammy recognition, while his live career has taken him to major stages including Coachella, the Grand Ole Opry and the Viña del Mar International Song Festival.
The Miami performance marks the first concert at Nu Stadium, the new 26,700-seat home of Inter Miami CF. Designed for fútbol, concerts, global sporting events and cultural programming, the venue is part of Miami Freedom Park and is intended as a year-round destination for sports and entertainment.
León has described the stadium debut as a significant moment for his career and for Spanish-language music, with plans for a full-scale show featuring music, celebration and special guests.
