Experience a bold retelling of a timeless tale as Faena Theater presents its original production of Carmen, now playing Thursdays and Saturdays through August 31 on Miami Beach.
This reimagined version of Carmen fuses flamenco, cabaret, cirque nouveau and fire artistry into a multidisciplinary stage experience shaped by Faena Live in collaboration with performance collective Quixotic. Set in a world of passion, rivalry and seduction, the story follows Carmen—a headstrong heroine navigating a dangerous love triangle—brought to life through immersive visuals, percussive live music and Spanish-inspired flair.
The production is led by masters of ceremonies La Espe, a Córdoba-born vocalist and semifinalist on The Voice Spain, and Grammy-nominated artist Bita, whose genre-blending style infuses each performance with spontaneity and soul.
