Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana becomes a multisensory spectacle when Barcelona’s acclaimed experimental theater company La Fura dels Baus reimagines the work through immersive staging, visual art and physical performance.

Carmina Burana: La Fura dels Baus takes place Saturday, January 31 at The Fillmore Miami Beach, transforming the traditional concert format into a multimedia experience directed by Carlus Padrissa, a founding member of the avant-garde collective. A 10-meter cylindrical screen surrounds the orchestra, serving as both projection surface and stage, while elemental imagery, water, fire, flora and celestial light, brings the score’s themes of nature, fate and desire to life.

Performed worldwide to audiences of more than 400,000, this production merges the power of Orff’s music with the daring theatricality that defines La Fura dels Baus, offering a striking fusion of classical and contemporary artistry.
