Chef's Master Class: Stone Crab & Oyster Experience

A hands-on culinary class focused on Florida stone crab and oysters takes place at the Matador Room at The Miami Beach EDITION. Scheduled for Friday, May 29, the session offers a guided introduction to preparing and pairing two coastal specialties on Miami Beach.
Led by the hotel’s culinary team, the experience includes instruction on how to properly crack stone crab claws and shuck oysters, with an emphasis on technique and sourcing. Florida stone crab, harvested seasonally from October through May, is highlighted alongside fresh oysters selected for their flavor and texture.
The class also features curated wine pairings designed to complement the sweetness of the crab and the briny qualities of the oysters. Open to guests 21 and over, the program combines culinary instruction with a tasting experience in an intimate setting.
