Chopin for All: William Yang

A piano recital at Granada Church showcases the work of Frédéric Chopin through the interpretation of an emerging young virtuoso. Taking place Sunday, May 3, the performance features William Yang, who closes the Chopin Foundation’s CHOPIN for ALL concert season following a series of recent international achievements. The program offers audiences an opportunity to hear one of the composer’s leading contemporary interpreters in an intimate setting.
Yang gained recognition after winning First Prize at the 2025 National Chopin Piano Competition in Miami, along with additional awards for his mazurkas and sonata, before placing sixth at the International Chopin Competition in Warsaw. Praised for his detailed and expressive approach to the repertoire, he has performed with orchestras including the Warsaw Philharmonic and Minnesota Orchestra and has appeared at venues such as Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall.
Admission is free, with seating available on a first-come, first-served basis, and registration recommended.
