CimaFest Miami

A two-night surge of Afro-Cuban funk and global dance culture arrives at ZeyZey Miami as CimaFest returns to the city for the first time since 2023. Led by Grammy-nominated bandleader Cimafunk and his powerhouse ensemble, La Tribu, the festival brings together artists who move comfortably across borders, musically and otherwise, blending Havana’s rhythmic backbone with contemporary funk, electronic experimentation and Caribbean pop currents.

Cimafunk & La Tribu headline both evenings with distinct performances, each drawing on the band’s elastic approach to groove: Afro-Cuban percussion folded into brass-driven funk, soul-steeped vocals and improvisational flashes that have made their live shows a word-of-mouth force from Miami to New Orleans. They’re joined by a lineup that reflects a wide creative circuitry, including Buscabulla, Gia Fu, Bosq, Salsa Z, Los Datway and a DJ set from Blu DeTiger, along with a Funky Cuban Jam featuring Yissy Garcia, Victor Campbell, and special guests.

The festival runs February 14–15, with doors at 6 p.m. and food service by Tacos María. The event is 18+ and unfolds across ZeyZey Miami’s open-air grounds, designed for evenings that move from early dance-floor warmth to late-night momentum. Additional performers may be announced.
