Nov 02, 2025
Starting: 11:30 AM
Introduce young audiences to the joy of live orchestral music with a vibrant celebration that blends sound, tradition, and family fun. This fall family concert explores the musical heritage of Mexico while honoring Día de Muertos—a cultural tradition that celebrates life, memory and ancestry.
Part of the New World Symphony’s 2025–2026 Concert for Kids series, Concert for Kids: Día de Muertos takes place on Sunday, November 2 at the New World Center. Designed for children ages 4 to 9 and their families, this relaxed, one-hour concert features music by Mexican composers and themes that help young listeners connect with stories of the past through sound.
Families are encouraged to wear Halloween costumes, face paint or flower crowns to take part in the festive spirit. Pre-concert activities include hands-on creative experiences and interactive opportunities to explore the Día de Muertos theme in a fun and age-appropriate setting.
Individual tickets will be available starting July 25, 2025.
