Cortadito
Sep 13, 2026
Starting: 6:00 PM
Traditional Cuban son fills Lummus Park as Miami-based ensemble Cortadito performs along Ocean Drive in Miami Beach. The free concert takes place Sunday, September 13, as part of the weekly Ocean Drive Promenade Music Series presented by the Ocean Drive Association.
Founded more than a decade ago, Cortadito draws on early Cuban country music traditions with an acoustic sound reminiscent of the Buena Vista Social Club. The ensemble has performed with artists including Cuban singer Aymée Nuviola, flutist Nestor Torres and Buena Vista Social Club guitarist and vocalist Eliades Ochoa, and appeared at the Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in 2022.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnics. In case of rain, the performance moves indoors to The Betsy Hotel.
