Crossing the Bridge
Through May 24, 2026
weekly on Sunday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday
From: Noon to 5 PM
A group exhibition exploring artistic legacy and institutional connection brings together five artists at Oolite Arts on Miami Beach. Crossing the Bridge examines what it means to be an alumnus of an arts institution through works that reflect personal histories, evolving practices and shared creative dialogue.
On view from February 25 through May 24, the exhibition features Edouard Duval-Carrié, Kerry Phillips, Najja Moon, Susan Lee-Chun and Yanira Collado. Through a range of media, the artists engage themes of memory, materiality and community, considering how objects and ideas carry meaning across time. The exhibition also functions as a conceptual “bridge,” linking different generations of artists through their connections to place and institutional experience.
Curated by Claire Breukel and Lauryn Lawrence, the exhibition positions Oolite Arts as both a site of reflection and reunion, inviting viewers to consider the intersections between individual artistic development and collective cultural frameworks.
