Cumbia, DJs and dance performances bring a summer celebration of Latin music and culture to the Miami Beach Bandshell. Cumbia Libre takes place Saturday, July 25.
Presented by Rhythm Foundation and Sonora Tukukuy, the event features Bogotá-based psych-cumbia group Romperayo Sound System alongside Miami collective Sonora Tukukuy. The lineup also includes DJ Krishna, DJ Bonita Applebumz and Paz y Flora dance ensemble.
Held between Colombia’s and Peru’s national days, the evening connects themes of freedom, summer and cultural celebration through music, dance and food. Peruvian food vendors and additional offerings will be available during the event.
