Dolphins Cancer Challenge
Feb 28, 2026
Multiple event times
A large-scale community fitness fundraiser returns to Miami with cycling routes and a signature 5K centered at Hard Rock Stadium, uniting runners, riders and walkers in support of cancer research and patient care.
Now in its 16th year, the Dolphins Cancer Challenge (DCC) launches This Is 100, a milestone campaign celebrating more than $100 million raised for Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, South Florida’s only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center. Every dollar raised by participants directly supports research, treatment, prevention and survivorship programs advancing breakthroughs locally and globally.
Taking place Saturday, February 28, the event offers multiple ways to participate, all anchored at Hard Rock Stadium:
Run / Walk
-
DCC 5K (3.1 miles): A run and walk experience on the Miami International Autodrome, giving participants the rare opportunity to move along the Formula 1 circuit before returning to Hard Rock Stadium for the post-race celebration.
Cycling Routes
-
Dan Marino Ride (13 miles): A police-escorted out-and-back ride beginning and ending at Hard Rock Stadium.
-
Larry Csonka Ride (39 miles): A point-to-point route through Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, Brickell and along Biscayne Boulevard, with a return toward Miami Gardens.
-
Zach Thomas Ride (54 miles): A longer coastal loop passing through Golden Beach, Fort Lauderdale Beach, Las Olas Boulevard and western Broward communities before returning to Hard Rock Stadium.
-
Jason Taylor Ride (99 miles): The longest route begins before sunrise at Hard Rock Stadium and travels through Miami, Miami Beach and Surfside, featuring multiple rest stops and a finish back at the stadium campus.
Participants may register individually or form corporate and family teams, combining wellness, community impact and shared purpose. Each participant selects a distance, creates a fundraising page and trains toward race day together.
Following the rides and run, all participants are invited to a finish-line festival at Hard Rock Stadium, featuring entertainment, food and community celebrations—often described as one of Miami’s most energetic post-race gatherings.
The Dolphins Cancer Challenge takes place Saturday, February 28, with events starting and finishing at Hard Rock Stadium and cycling routes extending throughout Miami and South Florida.
