EDC Pre-Venice Studio Night: Salon Circle
Apr 24, 2026
From: 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM
A salon-style evening at Edouard Duval-Carrié’s studio offers an inside look at the artist’s work ahead of the Venice Biennale. Taking place Friday, April 24 in Little Haiti, EDC Pre-Venice Studio Night: Salon Circle combines conversation, art viewing and music in an intimate setting.
The program begins with a discussion between Duval-Carrié and art historian Erica Moiah James, moderated by curator Vanessa Selk, exploring the ideas and process behind the artist’s upcoming presentation at the 2026 Venice Biennale. Attendees also receive access to a pre-order of a limited-edition catalog connected to the Biennale project, along with the opportunity to view and acquire selected works related to the series.
The evening continues with a DJ set by Gardy Girault, whose music blends Haitian rhythms with contemporary electronic influences. Presented by the Tout-Monde Art Foundation, the event supports Duval-Carrié’s participation in the Biennale while bringing together elements of visual art, scholarship and music within a studio environment.
