Chicago-based artist Paula Crown will display her interactive installation EMANARE on the wall of the New World Center during Miami Art Week. Known for her multimedia practice incorporating cutting edge technologies and social activism, Ms. Crowns presentation, traveling from New Yorks Rockefeller Center, will be EMANAREs largest iteration yet. On view over two evenings, this participant-generated artwork invites an audience from across the globe to activate the work by entering messages of positive intention and affirmation by answering the question, What positive message do you want to emanate into the world today?
NWS Fellows Douglas Aliano, Amelia del Caño, Ben Fryxell, Zoë Merrill, Zachary Ragent and Marceline Suchocka collaborated with Paula Crown to design an audio soundscape to accompany the installation.
