Join a live conversation on how independent comics are shaping contemporary storytelling with Neil Brideau, founder of Radiator Comics. Based in Miami, Radiator Comics is a distributor and publisher representing over 275 small press and self-published comic artists from around the world.
Taking place on Sunday, May 11 at Books & Books, this edition of Espresso Editions explores the role of comics in community engagement and how Radiator Comics has created a platform for diverse, independent voices in the publishing world. Brideau will share insights from his experience organizing alternative comics festivals, managing one of the country’s most iconic bookstores and supporting the comics community as both a publisher and artist.
The conversation will be moderated by artist and publisher Amanda Keeley and is part of an ongoing series focused on publishing, creativity and advocacy. This free event is made possible with support from the City of Coral Gables.
