Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits opens May 16 at the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science, delivering a high energy, hands on exhibition that arrives as Miami prepares for a global summer of sport, including the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Through interactive challenges and cutting edge simulations, guests can test their balance, reaction time, and strength while exploring the science behind high adrenaline sports like wingsuit flying, parkour, rock climbing, and freediving.
Blending physics, biology, psychology, and technology, the exhibition reveals how elite athletes train their bodies and minds to perform in extreme environments, from soaring through the air to navigating unpredictable terrain and deep water conditions. Visitors will also hear firsthand stories of perseverance and innovation, gaining insight into the mindset, preparation, and risk evaluation that define extreme performance.
Ideal for families, sports fans, and summer travelers, the exhibition offers a dynamic mix of physical challenges, multimedia experiences, and real world inspiration. On view through September 7, Extreme Sports: Beyond Human Limits provides a unique opportunity to experience the intersection of science, sport, and human potential, adding an adrenaline fueled, STEM driven highlight to Miami’s lineup of world class cultural and sporting events.
