Starting: 7:00 PM to 1:00 AM
Brazilian singer and songwriter Fernanda Abreu brings her genre-blending pop and dance sound to ZeyZey Miami for a live performance rooted in decades of musical innovation. Taking place Thursday, May 28, the 18+ show unfolds on the venue’s Zaku Stage, highlighting a catalog that merges samba, funk carioca, hip-hop and electronic influences.
Abreu first rose to prominence in the 1980s with the band Blitz before launching a solo career that helped shape modern Brazilian pop. Often cited as a pioneer of dance-driven MPB, her work has influenced a new generation of artists while maintaining a strong connection to Rio de Janeiro’s musical identity. Her live sets typically feature a mix of well-known tracks such as “Rio 40 Graus” and “Kátia Flávia, a Godiva do Irajá,” alongside newer material.
ZeyZey Miami provides an open-air setting with a curated beverage program and on-site dining by Tacos María, known for its grass-fed, seed-oil-free tacos.
