This edition of FilmGate Festival—Florida's longest-running monthly short film series—focuses exclusively on comedy, featuring a diverse range of funny shorts that demonstrate the creative talents of local directors, writers and performers. The film lineup will be announced closer to the event date, promising fresh content from the area's most amusing storytellers.
As part of FilmGate Miami's ongoing mission to empower and promote local creators, this festival provides filmmakers with a platform to share their comedic works with new audiences. The event welcomes short films, documentaries, music videos and web series that are either produced in Florida or created by Florida residents, with a maximum runtime of 20 minutes.
