Freddy K

A techno set by Freddy K brings vinyl-driven selections and extended DJ storytelling to The Ground Miami. Taking place Saturday, May 9, the event features a lineup of international and local artists within an underground club setting.

Freddy K, born Alessio Armeni, is a longtime figure in European techno with roots in Rome’s 1990s rave scene and later influence in Berlin’s club circuit. Known for marathon sets and an all-vinyl approach, his style moves fluidly across techno’s spectrum, blending hypnotic rhythms with unexpected selections drawn from decades of dance music. His work as founder of KEY Vinyl and involvement in early techno labels have contributed to shaping the genre’s independent infrastructure.

The night also includes performances by Elias Garcia, a Bronx-born DJ and producer associated with deep, minimal and hypnotic techno, and Miami-based artist Mila Gama, whose sets incorporate elements of acid, electro and trance. Presented in an intimate venue, the 18-and-over event offers a late-night program centered on immersive, dancefloor-focused sound.
