Free Family Fun Day: National Lighthouse Day

Free Family Fun Day: National Lighthouse Day takes place at HistoryMiami Museum on Saturday, August 9, offering engaging activities inspired by the lighthouse at Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park—Miami’s oldest standing structure.

Families can tour the museum’s permanent exhibition, Tropical Dreams: A People’s History of South Florida, to learn about the role of the Cape Florida lighthouse in the region’s development. Children and adults alike can enjoy interactive craft activities, including building their own model lighthouse.
