Free Second Saturdays: Collaging Culture
This event has passed.
Enjoy a family-friendly day of art and nature at the Saturday, July 8 installment of PAMM's Free Second Saturdays. The day's lineup of activities includes an art-making activity and meet and greet with an Everglades National Park Service ranger.
Drawing inspiration from PAMM's exhibit Marcela Cantuária: The South American Dream, guests will create a mixed media artwork using symbols and text to connect their personal identities and culture with natural environments. The project's aim is to inspire reflection on how to activate change and advocate for an environmentally-conscious future.
A National Park Service ranger will also be on hand for meet and greets. Learn about the Everglades ecosystem and how we can help protect this unique Florida treasure.
For the rest of the day, you can explore the galleries, grab a meal at Verde, or sit back and enjoy the breeze on the waterfront terrace.
