Haitian Mother's Day Celebration

Live performances, Haitian cuisine and family activities come together in North Miami for an annual celebration honoring mothers. Haitian Mother’s Day takes place Sunday, May 31 at the Joe Celestin Center. Presented by the City of North Miami as part of its Haitian Heritage Month programming, the event recognizes Haitian culture, family traditions and community connection.

Also known as Fèt Manman, the celebration will feature live entertainment, giveaways, authentic Haitian cuisine and a family-friendly atmosphere. Saxophonist Ketler Macome is scheduled to perform, adding live music to the afternoon program.

Guests are encouraged to RSVP in advance. The event is part of North Miami’s broader Haitian Heritage Month lineup, highlighting the city’s Haitian and Haitian American community through cultural programming throughout May.
